This multicultural music education program is designed to introduce and educate children ages 8-16 and adults of the North Shore to the musical contributions of African American, Latino, Native and European American music legends of various time periods of America..The objectives are accomplished by bringing specially trained professional actors, dancers, and musicians to engage youth in performing arts learning activities.
Information is presented by individuals, such as experts in the field of the history of the Jazz Era; musicians who specialize in the musical disciplines comprised of Gospel, Jazz and Blues, and other genres, which have the ability to reach all participants and audiences, with age appropriate presentation techniques. The program is comprised of several components:
Workshops, Lectures, Musical Theater & concert performances.
Cast members perform multi-roles, speaking w/dance/movement segments to coincide with multimedia and instrumental renditions
